Due to safety concerns with Covid and our success last year, we have decided to make our annual Gumbo Festival a drive-thru again! The drive-thru will take place on November 13th at the Girls’ Haven Campus from 11 a.m.- 5 p.m. You can pre-order your tickets now at www.girlshaveninc.org All funds raised from the Gumbo Festival stay here in Southeast Texas to help young girls most at-risk. We provide positive guidance and a loving home for girls ranging from 6-22 years of age with length of stay ranging from a few weeks to several years due to homelessness, physical and sexual abuse, or severe family dysfunction. We instill in our girls the ability to make a successful transition to the next phase of their life. Our priority is to promote and enhance the quality of life for girls in need. Proceeds from the Gumbo Festival allow us to continue our mission of creating a home-like environment for our girls. We need our community more than ever to help mend the damage that the virus has done to our fundraising. Several fundraisers were cancelled last year, and we are still trying to recover. Thanks to our community, we know we can!
