| Girls'
Haven offers more than just a shelter |
As a General Residential
Operation, we meet all the girls' basic needs. We aspire to
help our girls learn responsibility and have a well-rounded
life with many opportunities for success. We provide a safe
place where tragedy can be turned into triumph! Girls' Haven
seeks to provide a safe, nurturing environment for girls affected
by physical, sexual or emotional abuse, neglect, abandonment,
exploitation or severe family dysfunction. Our only priority
is to promote and enhance the quality of life for girls in need.
We serve girls ages 6 to 17 years, in a warm and caring environment.
Direct Care Staff provide structure and supervise day to
day life with the girls. Guidance and positive leadership help
shape promising futures for the girls entrusted to our care. |

In Memoriam: Mark Wilson, MD |
|
Girls' Haven co-founder, Mark Wilson passed away on March 23. In 1994, Mark and his wife, LaNell, were instrumental in finding a safe place for girls at risk. He dedicated his time and money to make Girls' Haven the success it is today. Mark’s asked that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the new gymnasium fund. Contact Girls' Haven at (409) 832-6223 to make your donation in Mark's memory.
